Enhancing Our Community: A Transformative Project for Delaware Township

Delaware Township is excited to announce a significant project designed to improve the daily lives of our residents and visitors! We're creating new spaces and upgrading existing facilities to better serve our growing community. These improvements reflect our dedication to building a vibrant, welcoming, and future-ready Delaware Township for everyone. We can't wait for you to experience them!

Here’s what this project has in the works.

  • Get ready to enjoy a brand new pocket park right on the Nickel Plate Trail! This inviting space will feature:

    • A cozy fire pit perfect for gathering.

    • Playful swing structures for all ages.

    • A refreshing water fountain.

    • Space for games like ping pong and corn hole

    This park is designed to be a place where everyone can relax, connect, and enjoy the outdoors.

  • To ensure our growing community continues to receive the highest quality of services, we're expanding the Delaware Township Government Building. This will create a more modern and accessible space for all.

  • We're also constructing a new storage and maintenance facility. This vital addition will support the essential operations that keep our township running smoothly and efficiently.

  • Our site will now include public restrooms, maintained in partnership with the City of Fishers. These new facilities will provide comfort and convenience for everyone visiting the area.

The community is invited to join us for an OPEN HOUSE to hear details of the Delaware Township Government and Community Center Expansion Project. Our Township Trustee, Debbie Driskell will be joined by members of the project team to share and showcase:

  • The project design and features

The community will have the opportunity to gather, ask questions one-on-one, and enjoy light refreshments.
